Welcome to the Ladies Section of Long Sutton Golf Club

Lady Captain 2008-9
I am looking forward to my year as Lady Captain, and hope to be able to play with most, if not all, members at some point during the year. Long Sutton Ladies Section is a friendly, sociable group. We welcome new members of all abilities and our section has expanded considerably over the last year. I hope, during my year of captaincy, to encourage those new to golf to join the rest of the section both in golf and at social events.
We are proud of our course, which has seen great improvements during the past year, and many more exciting changes are planned. Our members have enjoyed welcoming those from other clubs, in League matches, Ladies Friendly matches, and Mixed Friendly matches, as well as Open competitions. Our record over the past year has been excellent: winners of the Rogers Cup - the Somerset Ladies knockout competition - and the Interclub League. We hope to maintain this good form during 2009, as well as the good record of many individuals in Open or Regional competitions.
